what to do with garbage during the trip

Garbage is going to be an issue for everybody. What has worked well in the past?

Hello, Perhaps I can help a bit.  We normally put all trash into well sealed (heavy) trash bags and stow them in a lazerette or other safe location.  The location should be chosen where the bags will not get torn easily.  Food scraps should be thrown overboard.  Some people throw paper over the side.  Because there are stops, especially in Turtle Bay, not too much trash should accumulate until it can be brought ashore and disposed of properly.
