Baja Ha-Ha XXVI

When Somebody Lights Up a Doobie In the Anchorage

Do you inhale or not?

That was the (joke) question at Bahia Santa Maria during last year's Baja Ha-Ha.

Even though Bahia Santa Maria is almost as far south as the Tropic of Taurus, it's still subject to pea soup thick fog in the early morning hours. As you can see here, it usually burns off about 10 am.

The Baja Ha-Ha is the annual cruisers' rally from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas, with R&R stops at Turtle Bay and Bahia Santa Maria. This dates are November 3 to November 16. Registration starts on May 8.

Last year there were 149 boats and 551 participants. What's different this year is that we're starting a week later — so there will be more slips in Cabo — and spending one more day in Bahia Santa Maria and one less day in Cabo San Lucas.
