Baja Ha-Ha XXIX

BAJA HA-HA XXIX REGISTRATION STARTS TODAY
MAY 9, AT NOON PACIFIC TIME

The Ha-Ha is about sailing, but so much more, too.
Sailing conditions are usually light to moderate.

At the risk of repeating myself, the Ha-Ha is the 750-mile cruisers' rally from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas, with R&R stops at funky Turtle Bay and surreal Bahia Santa Maria.

Like your wind from aft? There hasn't been an upwind leg in the history of the Ha-Ha. Don't have a chute? Wing-on-wing is a great Ha-Ha strategy.
Grillin' at the beach party at Turtle Bay.

Speaking as a veteran of 27 Ha-Ha's, I can report it's a two-week combination of sailing, adventure, nature immersion, social events, and making countless new friends. So much goes on that by the time you reach Cabo it will seem like you left San Diego a month ago.

If you like nature, you'll love the Ha-Ha. Sunrises, sunsets, big moons,
countless stars, birds, whales, and all kids of fish. A natural delight.

The Notice of the Rally and complete information about the event can be found here.

Everybody hits and makes friends at the Bazeball game.

Why sign up early? It commits yourself to a specific date to begin something you've long been dreaming about. It also puts you higher up on the list for a berth in Cabo — although nobody is guaranteed a berth.

Free sail repair? Just one of the many Ha-Ha benefits thanks to
Ullman Sails San Diego / Anacortes.

Over 12,000 sailors have done the world-famous Ha-Ha. Join today and become a part of Ha-Ha history.

One of the most fun things about the Ha-Ha is that
much of the time you'll be in sight of several other boats.

There aren't many anchorages as beautiful as ultra remote Bahia Santa Maria,
home of the Ha-Ha live band rock 'n roll beach party.

Kids flip for the Ha-Ha Diving Championships off the back porch of Profligate.

After successfully sailing to Cabo, the 'Cheated Death Again' dance party
and popcorn throw at Squid Roe makes people want to get up and dance.
