Entry Instructions
1) Complete the online entry form that follows this introduction as thoroughly as possible and submit your payment online.
The entry fee is $545; after June 1, it increases to $595. A $45 discount is available for boats under 35 feet and for owners under 35 years old.
PLEASE NOTE: Entry fees are non-refundable. Thank you for not asking.
2) Your entry form answers become your Meet the Fleet bio, written by Richard Spindler, founder of Latitude 38—so this is your chance to control the narrative.
This roster is how the fleet gets to know who’s who, and it sticks around all season. The boats with the best bios—the ones with a little detail, humor, or personality—are the ones people remember. One-word answers turn into one-line bios.
A few thoughtful sentences (or more) make all the difference. Give us something fun, interesting, or unexpected—you’ll be glad you did once the rally is underway.
(Check out the 2025 Meet the Fleet to see what others have done.)
3) Email patsy.baja.haha@gmail.com several photos of the smiling skipper—and, if applicable, first mate, crew, and boat pets. A head-and-shoulders shot works best. First impressions matter, so send something happy (not your passport photo), and make sure images are in focus, well-lit, and reasonably high resolution so we can use them. The following are great examples:

What Happens After I Enter?
1) Entry packets with your Ha-Ha Burgee will go out via USPS beginning in July or 2 weeks from your sign-up. Or you may choose to pick up your packet in San Diego.
Those not picked up will be at the mandatory West Marine Skipper's Check-In on Sunday morning from 8:30-9:15 am.
2) Every person on your boat MUST complete an online waiver. You and your co-owner or your skipper (if applicable) will use the Owner or Skipper Waiver.
3) It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to notify each crew member (kids too) of their obligation to complete the online Crew Waiver. You can just tell them about the link to the form at the baja-haha.com homepage.
4) During September and October we will periodically email you important rally updates, the latest changes in Mexican paperwork, and mandatory offshore communication setup information. Monitor your entry for "Boat Email" on the following registration form frequently.
If you don't hear from us by October 1 check your spam folder or let Patsy know at patsy.baja.haha.@gmail.com that we have a bad email address for you.
I've read the instructions and am ready to complete the form
